Strawberry Margarita Recipe
This recipe is focused on creating a balanced, vibrant, and aromatic Margarita, perfect for a fresh take on the classic.
| Component | Ingredient | Amount |
| Spirit | Blanco Tequila | 60 ml (2 oz) |
| Liqueur | Orange Liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec) | 30 ml (1 oz) |
| Acid | Fresh Lime Juice | 30 ml (1 oz) |
| Sweetener | Light Muscovado Sugar | 1-2 tsp (or to taste) |
| Infusion | Dried Strawberry Slices | 5-7 pieces |
| Infusion | Rose Petals | A pinch (3-5 petals) |
| Garnish | Strawberry, Lime & Mint Salts | For the rim |
| Garnish | Dried Lemon, Lime, or Orange Garnish | 1 slice |
Method
- Prepare the Rim: Pour a small amount of strawberry, lime & mint salts onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your chilled Margarita or rocks glass. Gently press the outer edge of the rim into the salts to create a fragrant, textured edge.
- Muddle (Infusion Base): In your Garnish Club shaker jar, combine the light muscovado sugar, dried strawberry slices, and rose petals. Add a small splash of lime juice (about 1/2 tsp) and gently muddle these ingredients. This helps release the strawberry and rose aromas and starts dissolving the sugar.
- Add Liquids: Pour the blanco tequila, orange liqueur, and fresh lime juice into the jar.
- Shake: Fill the shaker jar completely with ice. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled. A hard shake is key to proper chilling and integration of the fruit and floral flavors.
- Serve: Fill your prepared, salt-rimmed glass with fresh ice. Double-strain the Strawberry Margarita mixture into the glass to ensure a silky-smooth drink, free of any rose petals or larger fruit pieces.
- Garnish: Garnish with one of the dried lemon, lime, orange, or blood orange garnishes from the kit.
