Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe
This recipe is built to create a perfectly balanced, refreshing, and fruit-forward Daiquiri, enhanced by the kit’s special infusions and garnishes.
| Component | Ingredient | Amount |
| Spirit | White Rum | 60 ml (2 oz) |
| Acid | Fresh Lime Juice | 30 ml (1 oz) |
| Sweetener | Light Muscovado Sugar | 1-2 tsp (or to taste) |
| Infusion | Dried Strawberries | 5-7 pieces |
| Infusion | Dried Hibiscus Flower | A few petals |
| Infusion | Dried Coconut Slices | 1 small piece |
| Garnish | Strawberry, Lime & Mint Salts | For the rim |
| Garnish | Dried Blood Orange or Pineapple Garnish | 1 slice |
Method
- Prepare the Rim: Pour a small amount of strawberry, lime & mint salts onto a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your chilled coupe or martini glass. Gently press the outer edge of the rim into the salts to create a fragrant, sweet-and-sour edge.
- Muddle (Infusion Base): In your Garnish Club shaker jar, combine the light muscovado sugar, dried strawberries, dried hibiscus flower petals, and a small piece of dried coconut slice. Add a small splash of lime juice (about 1/2 tsp) and gently muddle these ingredients. This helps release the flavors from the dried fruits and hibiscus and starts dissolving the sugar.
- Add Liquids: Pour the white rum and fresh lime juice into the jar.
- Shake: Fill the shaker jar completely with ice. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled. A strong shake is essential for proper chilling, dilution, and thoroughly mixing all the flavors.
- Serve: Double-strain the Strawberry Daiquiri mixture into your prepared, salt-rimmed glass. This will ensure a smooth drink, free of any larger fruit or hibiscus pieces.
- Garnish: Garnish with one of the dried blood orange or pineapple garnishes from the kit.
